Crow Crash Radio-Kelly's Corner, Oakland CA; 9/27/14

Crow Crash Radio  had a fine time playing to all kinds of adults and kids yesterday at Kelly's Corner. It's really funny to watch toddlers dancing around to your music!
We managed to play three sets. It seems that some of our newer tunes are taking shape into shorter durations, with our older ones morphing, too. That's a fine feeling.
One of my main objectives in Crow Crash is to play with enough restraint so that I can hear the audience as I play, just as they can hear me. I felt like that, if nothing else, was accomplished yesterday.

Crow Crash Radio will play this Saturday!

Crow Crash Radio is pleased to be playing in Oakland this Saturday! We'll be at Kelly's Corner, a boutique for kids on 9/27!

We'll be playing from 3-5 PM, and Brian Strang's artwork will also be up for viewing and sale!

Earspray-Second Act, SF CA; 9/17/14

Right off of the bat, I have to say that James and the staff of Second Act are super cool and ass kicking. What a great space! It reminds me of nothing more than DC Space, so, yeah, I feel as if the universe reached out and planted a big wet kiss on my third eye. Seriously, if you see a listing for an event there: GO! They deserve the support for sure!
It was really great to play for SF Freaks and Noise fans, and the other bands, Not I, Heartworm, and Amphibious Gestures were all super cool sounding. What a solid booking.
As for Earspray's set, I felt that we stuck to the parameters that we'd rehearsed, and I had a good time digging into my electronics rig. I sort of clammed the hard ending, so, apologies to Carlos and Ann. Still, HELLA FUN!
One of the best shows, for me subjectively, in a while!

Earspray will play in SF this Wednesday!

I'm happy to say that Earspray will play this Wednesday, 9/17, at Second Act in SF!
Second Act is located at 1727 Haight St. The show starts at 7:30 PM. I haven't played a show on Haight St. in over twenty years! Really excited!
