This short clip was recorded at Ann O'Rourke's studio in Alameda, probably 2015, to iPhone. Ear Spray were having a rehearsal, and Ann and Carlos took a smoke break. I stayed inside the studio and was inspired to record a bit.

I listened to this clip the other day, and feel like it's a really good example of some of the musical ideas that I was working with as a solo drummer. I.E., I like it, hahaha. Perhaps someone else will, too.

When this show happened, I was bummed out, because I thought that our performance was hampered by technical difficulties. Those difficulties were real, but the other night I listened to this clip and enjoyed it. It may be that the interference from said difficulties made us keep things really sparse, which has turned out to give the set a nice, chill vibe. So, I figured it should go into the Archive for posterity.
