The picture above is in front of Owls Club, which used to be a funeral home. I was talking with a friend during the show, and she was telling me about how the interior of the place has weird vibes and finds it difficult to go in. Thankfully, Benson Highway Band played on the porch! Some people came, and we played our set, including a couple of new songs. It was nice to have Kevin on guitar with us as he adds a really special vibe with his playing. A fun night in the night air that's getting chilly here in the Sonoran Desert. Benson Highway Band has more shows coming up, YAY.

These tracks have been up at Bandcamp for a while now. Figured I'd put them up in the Archive too.

Will Alexander on piano and me on drums, recorded in San Francisco 2018. If memory serves correctly these tracks were edited for release at Bandcamp by someone but I can't recall whom. Was hoping for a proper studio recording by this duo but that did not transpire, sadly. Acrylic painting by me.

Listened to this today and just could not resist getting it uploaded at Archive.org. Basically none of the fine players on this set are known to me anymore, and at least one has passed away, that being Tony Passarell (RIP). I gather that Gold Lion Arts is at a new location in Sacramento. Those were fun and very different times for myself and probably everyone else involved. Brandon I hope you're OK out there somewhere.
