New Barney Cauldron track up at Archive.org!

https://archive.org/details/file0436

This recording, made in Scarp's basement studio in Oakland, Summer 2010, seems to me to be a great example of the grooving jam band vibe that Barney Cauldron was able to achieve. I actually remember this jam; we were all elated as it unfolded, and at its conclusion. Ah, the possibilities. Not sure why Scott quit, he just told me that he didn't want to play with me anymore. That shit happens, I've done it, too.

Another clip up at Archive.org!

https://archive.org/details/xcavation

This short clip was recorded at Ann O'Rourke's studio in Alameda, probably 2015, to iPhone. Ear Spray were having a rehearsal, and Ann and Carlos took a smoke break. I stayed inside the studio and was inspired to record a bit.

Short solo drumming clip up at Archive.org!

https://archive.org/details/mark-pino-jazz-prayer-new-year-1

I listened to this clip the other day, and feel like it's a really good example of some of the musical ideas that I was working with as a solo drummer. I.E., I like it, hahaha. Perhaps someone else will, too.

Mika Pontecorvo/Mark Pino Duo live recording up at Archive.org!

https://archive.org/details/pontecorvo-pino-9-30-17

When this show happened, I was bummed out, because I thought that our performance was hampered by technical difficulties. Those difficulties were real, but the other night I listened to this clip and enjoyed it. It may be that the interference from said difficulties made us keep things really sparse, which has turned out to give the set a nice, chill vibe. So, I figured it should go into the Archive for posterity.

Neat Crow Crash Radio shot

Panned perspective photo taken by Melissa at Chez Strang, Oakland near Mills College, 2014-ish.

Fun times with nice people. Can one ask for more? Not I.

Ovipositor live at Li Po Loungs SF recording up at Archive.org!

This show has Ovipositor starting out a bit out of tune and rough, but we seemed to have picked up steam along the way. A pretty strong second half or so, in my estimation.

Plus, we actually did put a Kinks song in the middle of Song To End All Cancer, which was fun.

Review of Voi! Maa! recording at Contemporary Fusion Reviews website!

Kind of a strange review, but at least they listened to it!
